Description
Job DescriptionNorthwest Health - La Porte is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible General Surgeon to join its established surgical team in La Porte, Indiana. This is an employed opportunity offering a strong referral base, advanced robotic technology, and a supportive clinical team in an affordable community with an excellent quality of life.
Both new graduates and experienced surgeons are encouraged to apply. Candidates should be comfortable providing bread-and-butter general surgery, with additional subspecialty interests welcomed. Robotic surgery experience is preferred.
Position Highlights
- Hospital-employed General Surgery opportunity
- Join an established team with General Surgery and APP support
- Bread-and-butter General Surgery with opportunities to incorporate additional areas of interest
- Da Vinci Xi robotic surgical system available
- Approximately 2-3 clinic days and 2-3 OR days per week
- Average clinic volume of approximately 15-20 patients per day
- General Surgery call at one hospital. 1:2 call schedule
- Strong referral network and dedicated clinic support
- Access to OR, anesthesia, ICU, endoscopy, and specialty support
